Studio MILO has been invited to design an alternative table setting as its contribution to Restaurant Rigolo’s “We R Food” concept at the Salone del Mobile 2017. The place mat design is based on traditional flooring patterns of Milanese homes during the 1900s, and celebrates the linear architecture of the era. The colourful and continuous images created by the linked geometrical mats reflect the welcoming Italian tradition of “aggiungi un posto a tavola” with a contemporary edge!
