Marca Corona, Cersaie 2020 – concept

The Danteum Concept at Cersaie 2020, proposed for Marca Corona, revolves around the theme of encounter.

This theme was especially relevant in the historical context of 2020, a time when meeting others was no longer possible, and the fundamental human need for connection was abruptly interrupted, creating a profound sense of disorientation in all of us. We envisioned the spaces as piazzas—open, permeable places designed to encourage sharing and togetherness.

The concept was born from the desire to offer visitors an experiential journey through an architectural setting with a strong identity.
It highlights the parallel between public/shared space (Marca Corona) and private/domestic space (1741).

A sequence of distinct environments unfolds, guiding visitors through the various product collections by Marca Corona and 1741.

The interiors of Danteum are conceived as a reflection on the relationship between communal spaces and those dedicated to intimacy.
The shared areas are represented by Marca Corona, while the private spaces are clad in the 1741 brand.
