“Oltre la forma” – “Beyond shapes” in English – to describe the exceeding of standards, the fragmentation of a single open-space into multiple secret spaces, capable of creating astonishment. Exploring the circular path created by the installation, underlined by curved walls and fragmented by the optical stripes pattern of the flooring, the visitors discover the project scene after scene. You feel suspended in an oniric and surreal world in which the new collection, “Visio”, assumes different fluid shapes and unexpected configurations.
The ray-like disposition of the exhibit ideally recalls the structure of carousel, where the kinetics inebriation unveils niches and corners in which organic mouth, nose and eyes shapes talk, observe and listen to one another through perspective scenes created by upside-down arching structures.
The visitor experiences the wonder of the upheaval of proportion and fragmentation of organic shapes, suspended as in a dream and involved in a dialogue with the lights of the exhibit.
The expressiveness of the brilliant and fluo “Visio” collection, in its 80’s inspired colours and the root of the word “vision” itself, accentuates the eclectic mix of geometries and colors.
The concept of “Visio” recalls the surrealist world, with layers of meaning to discover one by one in the many possible configurations of the face-like geometries. An hymn to the iconographic apparatus and expressiveness of the human face.
The metal polished tube is curved to generate a face in its entirety, or a composition of elements such as chandeliers, floor lamps, appliques and so on: mixing mysticism and geometry, unpredictable variations on the theme of imagination are created.
In the dehor in Via Statuto, the installation keeps the avant-garde atmosphere typical of stage design: “trait d’union” is the sinuosity of the arch-shaped panels.
